Looking Back at UNMANNED_X

News

Royal3D recently had the privilege of sponsoring and actively participating in the prestigious UNMANNED_X symposium in The Hague. The two-day international gathering is dedicated to advancing defense innovation and exploring the future of unmanned systems. The event brought together leaders and industry pioneers from around the globe to exchange knowledge, and discuss the technologies shaping next-generation solutions in the defense sector.

As part of this dynamic program, Royal3D was proud to showcase how additive manufacturing is transforming the production landscape. Our 3D printing engineer, Bob de Reus, delivered an insightful presentation on the role of 3D printing in the development and manufacturing of USVs. He highlighted the significant advantages of this technology. Bob also emphasized the sustainability benefits of additive manufacturing that Royal3D has mastered, including reduced material waste and the ability to design lightweight yet highly durable components.

The symposium provided a valuable platform for Royal3D to demonstrate how 3D printing can deliver smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable solutions to meet the evolving needs of modern defense. Beyond showcasing our technical expertise, participating in UNMANNED_X also allowed us to engage with a vibrant international community, foster new collaborations, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across the industry.

By taking part in this influential event, Royal3D reaffirmed its commitment to driving innovation in manufacturing technologies and contributing to the future of unmanned systems. Us at Royal3D are looking forward to continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible with additive manufacturing and playing an active role in shaping the future of defense technology.
