In a collaboration with CEAD, Royal3D will be presenting the Royal3D cradles at this year's edition of Europort and Formnext, two of the leading events for maritime and additive manufacturing, taking place from 4 to 7 November in Rotterdam, Netherlands and from 18 to 21 November in Frankfurt, Germany.
In collaboration with CEAD, Royal3D will be showcasing its custom-made cradles, which will be supporting the 3d-printed boat designed by the MAC and printed with CEAD technology during the exhibition. This joint presentation demonstrates how collaboration between technology partners can accelerate innovation in large-scale additive manufacturing. Together, Royal3D and CEAD are combining expertise in composite printing and large-scale 3D production to create sustainable, high-performance solutions for industrial applications.
The Royal3D cradles feature a parametric design, allowing full customization to the hull’s unique geometry and form. This adaptable approach ensures optimal support and precision, while maintaining efficiency in production. Each cradle is produced using recycled thermoplastic PETG, emphasizing Royal3D’s commitment to sustainable material use and circular manufacturing principles.
At Eurport and Formnext, visitors will have the opportunity to see the CEAD boat and Royal3D cradles up close and gain insights into how advanced additive manufacturing can reshape traditional production processes in sectors such as maritime, construction, and industrial design.
