Royal3D at the UNMANNED Symposium 2025

Royal3D is delighted to announce its participation as a co-sponsor at the upcoming Two-Day Symposium UNMANNED, organized by KNVTS and KIVI, taking place on 25 and 26 September 2025 in The Hague. The symposium brings together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators from around the world to exchange knowledge and explore the latest advancements in the rapidly developing field of unmanned maritime systems. This year’s program is particularly exciting for us as the event will feature an impressive line-up of speakers and exhibitors, and Royal3D is proud to stand alongside them.
On Thursday, 25 September, Bob de Reus, 3D Printing Engineer at Royal3D, will deliver a presentation on why is 3D printing the right choice for USVs. In his talk, Bob will outline the unique advantages additive manufacturing brings to the development and deployment of USVs. From design flexibility and rapid prototyping to lightweight structures and sustainable production methods, 3D printing opens up new opportunities for building unmanned surface vehicles that are efficient, adaptable, and cost-effective.
In addition to our speaking contribution, Royal3D will also be present throughout the symposium with a dedicated showcase of our 3D printed Aquatic Drone. This innovative platform demonstrates the capabilities of our 3D printing technology and highlights what can be achieved when design freedom meets additive manufacturing. Visitors will be able to see firsthand how Royal3D’s solutions are pushing the boundaries of what is possible in unmanned maritime technology.
As a company committed to advancing the maritime sector through additive manufacturing and sustainable innovation, Royal3D sees participation in the UNMANNED symposium as an excellent opportunity to share knowledge, inspire collaboration, and connect with industry partners.
We look forward to engaging with fellow innovators, exchanging ideas, and demonstrating how 3D printing can play a transformative role in shaping the future of unmanned systems.
